Day 32

Jake (my parents dog) loves to play fetch with his ball.  We played in the hot Texas sun and he decided he needed a break.

Day 31

Mason loves his Uncle T.  Sometimes I think he would rather see him than his Auntie E...until today!  He LOVES planes and has been asking to go to Dyess to see all of the airplanes.  He and I went on a little journey for a couple of hours and saw EVERY plane in the air park.  This is Mason with Uncle T's plane.  He and his dad have been talking about how Uncle T is over in "the desert" getting bad guys and Mason says that he is putting them in time out.  Kids are so funny.  As we left we waved good-bye to Uncle T's plane. 

Day 30

My nephew Mason LOVES to play in his sand box.  Which I think is a little funny because he does not like to be dirty.  Aren't his hands so cute!

Day 29

So today I have a guest photographer.  My husband sent me this picture from the desert.  (I have been harassing him for weeks for some pictures.)  Not sure who took the picture...since he is in it!

Day 28

For my anniversary, Taris sent flowers to my office.  I LOVE getting flowers at the office.

Day 27

Today is my ninth anniversary.  I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers, but didn't have my camera at work...so we will have to see those tomorrow.  For now, here is a picture of our rings.

Roxanne loves to chase her ball and play fetch...sometimes a little too much.  I wanted to document her love of her ball.

My sister has some beautiful flowers in her back yard.  I have ALWAYS loved hydrangeas.  I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a picture of hers.

We played in the baby pool today...the big pool was WAY too cold.  Kendall had a great time playing in her pool.

Today was Kendall's big first birthday.  The party was great and I am so glad that I got to attend!

Tonight I went to my neighbors piano recital.  She did a great.

We had a training seminar this evening for work.  The dinner menu served was...Chick-fil-A.  Yum!

I guess that you can tell what I was doing this weekend!  I enjoyed my Saturday at the beach and now I am paying for it with a lathering of Aloe Vera.

I went to the rodeo on Saturday night.  I decided to post one of the pictures from the rodeo for Sunday.  It isn't my best work, but I wanted to remember my experience at the Tate FFA Alumni Rodeo.

I spent the day at the beach.  Got a little burned, but had a great time.

Day 8

I am using this year as a time to get the house in order to sell and move.  I hired TruGreen to get the lawn into shape.  I hope that it works!

To continue on with the dog theme...meet Kacey.  She is our ADD dog, but we love her anyway.

Day 6

One of my goals this year while Taris is gone, is to learn how to handle our finances better and become completely debt free.  So, when our church decided to had a Financial Peace University class, I knew that I had to sign up.

Day 5

During my month in Naples, we had a LOT of pizza...it is where pizza was created.  On a lot of their pizza they put "rocket" aka arugula.  I have not had pizza since I got home because I know that I will be seriously disappointed.  I went to the grocery store today...because I haven't been since I got home March 28...and I kid you not that sitting in the produce section was "rocket".  I almost fell over, a smile came over my face, and I had a chuckle thinking of the memories.  I decided to make pizza tonight with prosciutto and rocket.  Not quite the same...but yum!

PS--I am going out on a limb and jumping off of the auto settings.  Bear with me as I navigate my way through this.

Apparently I have a pet theme going this week.  What can I say, sometimes they are the highlight of my day.  Abbie aka "Beautiful".

The day is incomplete without Roxanne playing fetch.

One of the many things needed for a deployment, is entertainment.  And man does Taris need his movie entertainment.  This is the stack of movies that I am preparing to send over to him.
